Scholarships specific to the School of Music are listed below:
UNDERGRADUATE
ANU National Orchestral Scholarship
Scholarship for students enrolled in the School of Music ANU , who are selected to join the Canberra Symphony Orchestra for a specified number of performances during one calendar year.
Leonard and Margaret Doman Undergraduate Scholarship for Flute
This one year Scholarship is awarded to a student with an outstanding level of ability and accomplishment as a flautist, possessing the potential to make an outstanding contribution as a musician.
Ruth Pfanner Commencement Scholarships
Several one-year scholarships of $2,500, for students commencing the Bachelor of Music in any Instrument.
Dennis Griffin National Piano Scholarship - Undergraduate
One-year Undergraduate scholarships offered to students commencing study in Piano or Composition.
School of Music Foundation Scholarship
One-year scholarships valued at $2,500, available to students enrolled in the Bachelor of Music, supported by the School of Music Foundation .
ANU National Undergraduate Scholarship
One Scholarship awarded to a student from the School of Music. Please follow the link for more Information.
HONOURS
Peter and Lena Karmel Honours Scholarship
One-year scholarship valued at $5,000, awarded to the most outstanding student in music, commencing an Honours year at the ANU School of Music.
Ken and Vera Fowler Honours Scholarship
One-year scholarship valued at $5000 awarded to a student commencing an Honours year in the Bachelor of Music degree at the ANU School of Music.
Sir Geoffrey Yeend Honours Scholarships
One or two scholarships for Honours Year students enrolled in political science, visual and performing arts and Asian studies.
POSTGRADUATE
Harmony Endowment Postgraduate Scholarship Master of Music
Scholarship pays domestic fee tuition, $14,400 for one year. Open to students enrolling in the classical area of study including Composition, Voice and Musicology.
Leonard and Margaret Doman Postgraduate Scholarship for Flute
One year Scholarship awarded to a student pursuing a full time program of study, leading to the award of a graduate coursework degree or diploma in Flute Performance at the Australian National University .
Dennis Griffin National Piano Scholarship - Postgraduate
Postgraduate Scholarships offered to students of Piano or Composition.
SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE IN FUTURE YEARS
Harmony Trust Scholarship
A four-year Scholarship open to Students enrolled in the Bachelor of Music in any Instrument
Ruth Pfanner Undergraduate Scholarships
One four year scholarship, $5,000 per year, awarded to the most outstanding applicant commencing the Bachelor of Music in Cello Performance with Honours, at the ANU.
